Picked this - and the others in the series! - up at the book meet. Not sure when I'll get to them as my other half (Diomedes) gave me the complete series of Game of Thrones for my birthday yesterday, but rest assured it will be read and enjoyed - thank you!

This book and the others in the trilogy have been much enjoyed, not only by myself but by my daughter as well. I can tell how good the books are as, some eight months after they disappeared in my daughter's bedroom, when they reappeared I had good feelings when I received them back, and had to stop myself from starting them all over again...

This book has been on my shelf for far too long after picking it up at the pub in Blackfriars. I'm so glad to have read it finally and it was just the story I needed to kickstart reading in the fantasy genre after quite a few non-fiction reads. I was sympathetic to the characters and intrigued by the various twists in the story. I'm looking forward to reading books 2 and 3 in the trilogy and I will then find a bookcrosser to send them to. In the meantime, my mum is reading it, happy to have a fantasy novel to get lost in.
