Track of the Cat (Anna Pigeon Mysteries)
4 journalers for this copy...
When I picked up my World Book Night books from the Friends of the Library bookstore, I decided to buy a few others for wild release. This one is the first installment in the fabulous Anna Pigeon series, taking place in National Parks, and it got me hooked on the series, so it seemed a good choice.
I think I will set this aside for the Cozy Mystery Book Box.

Thank you :)
I finally picked this one up and read it on a day off. This was an ok read - decent enough mystery. The main character, Anna Pigeon, bothered me a bit - maybe could have been fleshed out a bit more. And, since I've worked in vet clinics, the mis-spelling of ketamine really bothered me. I did enjoy the environmental aspect of the book and also found the book quite progressive in its views of sexuality and feminism for a book published in 1993. I might read another by Nevada Barr.
Thank you for sharing this book with me, 6of8. I will pass this along at the next Calgary Bookcrossing meeting to find a new reader :)

Enjoy!!
Enjoy!!
I brought this back from the December meeting of BookCrossing.
This was an interesting setting for this mystery. Nice to find out things about parks in the US. The characters were interesting and yes - I think Anna was fully developed.
Bringing this book back to the November meetup at Cravings after attending the Remembrance Day Service at the Jubilee.
Picked up at the November get together!
An interesting mystery and view into park ranger-ing. It was a quick enough read, with a good variety of characters.
Thanks for the read.
