Just made some photos near 116 Canon Ave in Manitou Springs, CO 80829. A man came out the door of #116, friendly he greeted me. We talked, he invited me to come in to chat in the warm. I told this friendly mister Bill Power why I made photos near his house/office. Bill’s office is a real office and more. It’s also kind of an art exhibit. Bill’s business is “Real Estate MASTERS” and more, Bill is a Master in “making you welcome”. Bill made my day! We said good bye, he gave me his BizCard with an e-mail address and with his web-site. He said, Come again in when around here. Sure, I will.
When I put my tripod in the trunk, looking on a whole bunch of books awaiting to be released in the wild, I thought about what Bill told me about history, the history of Manitou Springs, the history of native Americans. And I thought Bill may be interested to get the book “AMERICA” by Alistair Cooke which was there in my trunk. I couldn’t think on a better place than Bill Power’s office to let this old book free. So, I marched back, Bill was talking on the phone. I just put the book on one of the tables, waved good bye and gone.
