I didn't really enjoy this book, and then a friend gave me another copy as a gift! Hopefully whoever finds it will enjoy it more than I did. It IS well-written; I just didn't enjoy some of the subject matter.

Sorry for the delay! I found the book on October 31 at Loftus Lloyd Cafe in 401 Richmond where I have an exhibition of my paintings on display...this is a very busy time! I was thrilled to find a bookcrossings book and began to read it that night. I have very mixed feelings about the book (haven't quite finished it)...I found the violence almost impossible to take but it has been pretty much balanced out by the poetic/fantastical imagery. In particular I loved the post-windstorm blue flax magic.
I will leave it at the same place I found it on Saturday November 22, the last day of my exhibition, a fitting closure.
Thanks Stacey, you got me registered and I plan to start sending some of my own books out in the near future!

mY FIRST time I saw the book in the bus stall on a chair, I looked at it, then turned away then looked at it again I saw FREE book,and I thought , wow what is FREE! Its interesting about how the books are set off in the wild, that was really a story to tell, and a great idea, great site, and thanks to the person who released it, I have only got a chance to read the first CHAPTER and its beautiful writings I felt like I was the little girl in the story. WHEN I FINISH I WILL RELEASE IT TOO !, THX FOR THE EXPERIENCE !!
