Love Stephen King. The story of a battered woman who escapes her husband to start a new life. But her psychotic/monster husband finds her.

I found the book today at Java City on top of a juice cabinet. The Java City employees were compelled to help me look for it and asked a regular customer if he had seen it. The regular guy knew exactly where it was. When I explained why I was looking for the book, it kind of weirded him out. He's not a Stephen King fan. I've just started reading it- very interesting so far. Good catch!
I'm so excited! This was one of my first releases and my very first of my books to be caught!
Let me first just say that this book is very very violent, so be prepared. I had a prejudice against Stephen King because, well, he's so into the dark side, and mainstream. The first Stephen King novel I read was 'Dreamcatcher'. Honestly, I read it because of the title, and I was desperate, but (surprize) I enjoyed it. It is a well written book, and there's a great deal to consider besides the action. The same is true with this novel. No arguments, 'Rose Madder' is well written. I think Stephen King does a terrific job with characters, and there's an eerie interwoven plot with Greek mythology. Look up the meaning of rose madder and Erinyes.
