Enjoyable first-in-series (Booktown Mysteries) about a bookstore owner in fictional Stoneham, New Hampshire. The characters were mostly believable and the book had more action than some cozies. There was occasional humor, too; my favorite: [The protagonist/sleuth's sister Angelica is visiting from out-of-state].
"Angelica scowled. 'I thought people from New Hampshire were supposed to be extra nice. Isn't that the state motto? Be nice or die?'
"That's 'Live Free or Die'..."

Traveling in Affinity4books' Cozy Mystery bookbox. Hope someone enjoys it!
I'm not pulling this one out of the box, since I've already read it. Excellent cozy set in a small town in New Hampshire, a book town similar to Hay-on-Wye in England. Highly recommended for booklovers!
The copy I read is here.

This book has travelled to Canada, but I've already read it too! Hope someone finds it in this box as I recommend as well :-)
I haven't read this yet and after two glowing recommendations from maryzee and Rhonder, how could I not take it out??

Thank you:)
I needed a fairly brainless and easy read this weekend and this cozy mystery ended up working very well. Good narrative, kept me turning the pages, easy to follow and a bit of fun. I liked the concept of a tourist town full of genre specific used book stores - sounds like the vacation spot for me!
Thank you for the entertaining cozy, eponine38! I will be sharing this one with the Calgary Bookcrossing group at our next meetup :)

A cozy mystery....right up my alley!
Fun book! I was a little worried as the print was smallish but the size of book, print, cover all made for a great cozy read. Felt good in the hand.
Thanks eponnie38!
Thanks eponnie38!
I am taking this book to our monthly bookcrossers meet up at Cravings - the second Saturday of every month- to pass on to the next reader.
Picked up at the Meetup.
I enjoyed this cozy so much that I continued following the next 13 books in the series. I had to buy book 9 as it wasn't available in the library system, and I dislike reading a series out of order!
As I looked up the reading order of the series online, I discovered there are 2 new books released. Now I must excuse myself to put a hold on these at the library....

Book released in a porch drop-off.
So looking forward to reading this cozy mystery. Dropped off by rureading as a wonderful porch drop during this Covid time.
Fun read that kept me turning the pages. Talk about straying from the Safest Town! Hard to imagine all those tours dumping down. That would keep the sales up all those readers.
We are having an outdoors meetup in the rain. Perhaps in the garage? See if I can find any takers for this.
I dropped this off when doing a porch drop. Enjoy this light mystery!
