I picked this up in Austria at our ski chalet. It looks like a short story which was given away with The Daily Telegraph (a British newspaper) at some point and had been left behind in a drawer of games and books. I left another novel in its place and took this little book to read myself.
I'd never read Fitzgerald before picking this one up but I absolutely loved it. The rhythm of the writing had a certain jazz edge to it and I was left wanting to know more about the characters. It also left me with a taste for more Fitzgerald.
I passed this one on to Bookcrosser paganfrog when I met up with her in Glospie.
