Bought this at the Old School House Cafe in St Abbs for £1 - a community venture. It was a bright warm sunny day - the 60th birthday of my lovely wife. I have just finished reading it early in the morning a week later. I love Liesel, love the book and the quirky way it is written. I am still choked as I write this - it has been a truly moving experience reading this book. I will not forget it, as we should not forget
