I live in Sweden and vistited My son in Hove when I received the book. This is A fantastic story that tell us that humanity is always there. I really liked the description of all good people of differnet kind that struggle against evil.
I will absolutly pass the book on to a new reader.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
A fantastic book that I really like more people to read.
This is the fourth book I have read about WWII. With each book I feel more and more a part of the world, not just the USA. I particularly enjoyed the author's presentation of the story through the eyes of death and the innocence of a young girl. I highly recommend this book and will pass it on to a friend here in Vermont with hopes that it will make it's way across the United States. Thank you Helge for sharing this book with me.
I'm so happy that I didn't have any pre-conceived ideas about the book. I didn't know that It was listed as a "Young reader's book" as I may not have read it. This book is a fantastic read for both young and old. I hated to see the end come as I wanted to read more about Liesel. This book is about the meaning of unconditional love, compassion and friendship. It's also about the atrocities of war, evil and death. I would highly recommend this book and will pass it on this week. I also plan to get a copy of "Jasper John" after reading the first chapter.
