This book was good but I didn't not realize when I bought it that it was a children's book. I feel pretty stupid now. Anyways, the book was about this girl, Coralines, who finds a door in her house that leads into the flat next door, which looks just like her flat (It's kind of Narnia). Her other mother and father, want Coraline to become their daughter. Of course she wants to go back to her real parents, so basically it's just telling the story of what happened. Very Sci-Fi.

Fulfilling a wish for janaqq. Will mail early next week.
BTW, I never commented on this book - it's incredibly creepy. don't make the mistake I made of reading it at night..my husband and little boy had gone to bed and I got completely creeped out..I hope it's not a spoiler to say there's a twist that reminded me of Carrie (of course, I can't explain why here, but see what you think after you've read it..)
My eight year old son kept asking what I was reading (the illustrations are very eerie) and asking if we could read it together. When they say this is a children's book, I think they mean children over 25 or 30!

what an amazing story. I would have really loved this book as a child and I love it as an adult as well. I just love animals that speak. The idea of being able to explore a strange place is great.
