BE WARNED:

The person who downloads the pre-numbered labels will be credited as the register(er) with the all ten books (or however many labels you download) when those labels are used for registering books!

So even tho I gave my Mom half of the labels I'd downloaded to use to register "HER books" it turns out that these books are registered by me.
So now I'm helping her download some labels IN HER NAME and giving her five more Harlequin novels so she can have five books registered BY HER on HER bookshelf.

Which is why this is "my book" and NOT my Mother's (who's book it REALLY is)!

My daughter gave me a pre-printed label and I'm trying out registering my first book. Although it doesn't look like I'm registering it though, it says journal entry on this page.

I read this book a long time ago, so I don't remember a lot about it. It was pretty good, but now that I'm sorting through all the books I have, I've decided to let go of the ones that weren't my real favorites.

Thank you Pam for telling me about BookCrossings. And for giving me those labels. I'm so excited.

Release planned for Saturday, November 22, 2003 at Warren Public Library, book exchange shelf in Warren, Vermont USA.

I am leaving my registered Harlequin novels on the exchange shelves of the Warren Public Library because I know people go there regularly to get new books, and there are many Harlequin readers who exchange books there. So I know they'll get read eventually by an appreciative person.

I also hope they'll get journalled, but it's more important to me that they be read and appreciated by someone.

I know that someone may choose to keep the books, but I guess that's o.k. too. I think it's safer than leaving it around when so many people feel that Harlequins are trash. Someone might actually put my book there, and I'd never want that to happen.
