A story of Wyoming's WWII internment camp for Japanese-Americans and their interaction with and reaction from the neigboring community, in particular the McKay ranch. Ehrlich is the author of The Solace of Open Spaces, and A Match to the Heart. The latter is an account of her being struck by lightning in 1991 and subsequent recovery.
