This book exposed a lot of my misconceptions--a million isn't rich the way it was thirty years ago--but the millionaire is not the guy in the big house--he's probably deep in debt. The millionaire is the guy in the brick ranch who buys a used car. The guy who lives below his means and saves his money. In a world where the average family credit card debt is $8,000, this book is a wake up call. My credit card debt is pretty low, but this book taught me maybe i could be doing better.

What it doesn't address is quality of life--sure I'd love to retire at fifty, but not if meant never traveling. Still, while everyone has to find their own balance, this book is a useful tool.
