I've had this a while but it has been loaned out, now it's back! TBR.
"The epic story of a trek across the United States by a band of survivors after human life has been all but wiped out by a viral epidemic."
I love this kind of post-apocalyptic sci-fi book. This large book is well written and exciting. Some of the dialogue may be difficult to understand for readers with English as a second language, as it is written in Harlem slang.
In this age of fast travel between countries it is scary to think that a pandemic of something uncontrollable like avian flu, ebola virus or biological warfare could possibly make a story like this come horribly true!
I'm wrapping this up to send it on its way on Monday to Sublevel4 in The Netherlands. Enjoy.

Arrived in the mail today! Only took 5 weeks to get across the Atlantic. A HUGE thanks to Bluenoser for sending this to me! Have a couple of bookring books with me right now, but this will be read as soon as there is a natural gap. Already looking forward to it immensely!
