While I prefer to read a series in order, I only have just this one book of this series. Hopefully reading it out of order doesn't make too much difference.* I don't remember ever reading all of the others, surely I've at least read "Anne of Green Gables", but I can't at this moment recall the "Little House" book series, and I KNOW I've read that. *As I am reading this delightfully descriptive book, which has also become a part of my participation in Katethegreyt's March Readathon https://www.bookcrossing.com/forum/6/580391 , I think perhaps that having read some of the others first...or recalling that I have, would make it even more enJOYable, as there do seem to be a few character back history & location details that might fill in a few missing pieces.

NOTE: This delightful book with its teeny tiny hard to read print, actually carried over into April.😉
