Ok, so I managed to wait over two years to read this. Talk about will-power! This was well worth the wait (and the small fortune I shelled out to buy it on ebay way back when). The book that started it all, this was Laymon's first novel. Very graphic both sexually and violently, it was quite shocking even to me (and especially considering it was first published in 1980)! The two subplots were brough together beautifully in the end. Oh, and speaking of the end, what a shocker! Can't rave enough about this, but don't want to give too much away. Now that I have finally read this, I'll be sending it out on a bookring soon.
