This book is suggested reading for all in-coming freshman living in the dormitories at Grand Valley State University. However, at the time I was a freshman, I wasn't the type of person to read any suggested material from the Resident Assistants that made my life hell.
In my Introduction to Hospitality and Tourism Management class, our professor offered extra credit to anyone that read this book and attended a group discussion about it. OF COURSE I WAS GAME FOR EXTRA CREDIT. After reading the book, I realized that suggested reading often times has a purpose. And that my Resident Assistants, the jerks that they were, just wanted me to learn something about life.
This book really makes you think about life's little lessons. I laughed, I cried. There are so many amazing pieces of advice within it's pages, that I can't help but "realease it into the wild" for someone else to find.
