I owe overdue fines on this book, so I'd better get this back!

I read this book for a book group. Quite long but "read well". Some beautifully written passages such as the beginning of Chapter 128 "S IS THE SOUND of the sea." Almost too long for just one reading. If you read Moby Dick than this is a different take on Ahab & definitly worth reading. The interesting thing about this book is that it was checked out from the Library and I was surprised to find a BookCrossing ID number slip placed loosely in it. I wonder how long before it slips out.
