"Bill Bryson's answer to Alastair Cooke's Letter from America . . . not only hilarious but also insightful and informative."
Bryson's inimitable brand of bemused wit is brought to bear on that strangest of phenomena -- the American way of life.
I picked this up from Better World Books recently because I cannot resist Bryson.

I didn't realize that this book is actually the same as I'm A Stranger Here Myself, just a different title (this one is the UK title, Stranger is the US title). So, I have actually read and enjoyed this book already. After determining that fact, I reread a few of my favorite parts -- the discussion of USPS vs Royal Mail, and the question of bureaucratic stupidity on green cards and etc.
I will be setting this aside to go to the convention in Gothenburg, because it is on the wishlist of a fellow attendee.

A wishlist RABCK for Zimort to celebrate the Gothenburg Convention. Enjoy!
Thank you so much. Look forward reading this. I always enjoy a Bryson book.
I don't know what to say. Not my favourite Bryson book. Maybe it is a bit to old. It's ok to have read it, but that's all.
On it's way to Germany.
Thank you for this book from my wishlist :-)
