Journal Entry 1 by Sherlockfan from Upper Hutt, Wellington Province New Zealand on Thursday, March 1, 2012
Arrived this week via The Book Depository from Vegan Medusa for Southern Cross Book Exchange. Not exactly the sort of thing I expected Marjane Satrapi to write but nevertheless I think this would be an interesting book especially for youngsters who are afraid of Monsters.
There is a mild flaw in the plot that I won't describe here as it would be a real spoiler. Overall though the plot is good and the characters realistic in a cat-like way.
Just wish I had grandchildren young enough to enjoy this but alas they do grow up.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Posting to Vegan Medusa who not only sent it to me but who also has it on her own Wish List and as she is pick of the month for April which is approaching at an alarming speed this seems appropriate.
I've even got exactly the right shaped mailing packet in which to enclose the book.
VM I've not put my customary release message because I think it would be nice for you to have any kudos for introducing someone else to bookcrossing.

Thanks Sherlockfan! It is a very cute book. I love the pages with the injured cats. I'll give this to my son to read tonight, and I've already spotted it on a fellow bookobsessor's wishlist, so I'll pass it on again soon.
Now travelling to another bookcrosser.
I am so surprised to get this! Thanks Vegan, and hi to Sherlockfan!
While this is more children's book than I expected, I love it, as it's from Marjane Satrapi. Thank you thank you!

Totally love this book for the very adorable drawings (love the cats and mice!)
I've read this a few times and while it is a bit hard to part with the book, I know of another BCer, also a Marjane Satrapi fan and would totally love this. So off it goes!

WOW New Zealand to USA to Serbia via Hong Kong (I wish I accompanied this book).
Another Satrapi's fan here (I believe this is her first book in colour I've read). This is going to my niece who (finally) started to appreciate her English classes so Ihope it will push her a bit more in the right direction :)
Oh and what a timing: happy birthday to me :)
Thank you!!!
