1976 Lippincott hardcover, with dust jacket. I saved this copy a couple days ago before it hit the recycle bin at Montclair Library.

Edit March 4, 2021L This was a pretty entertaining and upbeat story about the famous DeBolt family, which adopted a whole bunch of challenged kids of all kinds. There is a nice photo insert inside. I found it interesting that the entire family of kids and adults work as a team. I have not heard much about them in the years since the movie based on this, so I wonder whatever happened to the later generations by the model that they set. I currently have this ranked at #304 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.

Aside from loving shared books, my main passion in life is supporting the human rights work of my good friend, Anni Cyrus. πŸ’– πŸ’– Her life story of survival as a childhood refugee is astounding, and quite moving!
