The very first book in the Discworld series, in which we make the acquaintance of a Wizzard named Rincewind and a very strange piece of luggage...

Not the best Discworld book, but it's the first, and therefore well worth a read.

The colour of magic is octarine. Rincewind is coerced into being a guide to the first tourist ever to visit Ankh-Morpork. A quick read, so it's going to go back into the SFF book box.
