I found the book from the library's exchange shelf and well, even though chick-lit is not really my cup of tea I read it anyway. Not sure why... It wasn't "Laugh-out-funny" as it says in the backcover or didn't find it "hilarious". Plain light read for my winter weekend.

To the meetup in Sokos.

Picked this up at the Helsinki area meetup today. I have my own wedding coming up in about 5 months, and thought this would be a nice, light read.

The book was OK, nothing special. Not really hilarious or even funny but a nice, light read. What bothered me the most was how there was no depth in Diana's character. She was just plain rude and annoying. This bothered me because being a bit of a control freak myself, I first thought that I could identify with her. That was definitely not the case! I don't think anyone can be just plain bad and evil like she was, so I also didn't enjoy her comeuppance at the end.

Also, how on earth did Kate not recognize the man she had had a 6-year relationship with?! And it also bothered me how how she first had problems in her relationship, but then they suddenly just magically disappeared.

I'm taking the book to the Helsinki area bc meetup at the Sokos department store cafe. Maybe it finds a new reader there.

This book found no taker at the meet-up in Sokos in Helsinki. It was loaded in Hippolein's former book wagon for a purpose...
