Passed on to me by my eldest son who just didn't 'get it'. It isn't S.K's usual kind of horror, this 60's themed tale is a diff. horror entwined with many diff. kinds of human love & loss. A youngster's fears, young love & late love, dreams, memories & regrets along with plenty of pyscho. thrills. (in hindsight the mid. & late 60's era seems a lot like fict.)
S.K. always has a cert. way with words & phrases which uncannily strike home. Twice read which is rare. Res. for non BC'ing friend who I know will 'get it' too.
