When I picked this book up, I thought I'd read Isla Dewar before, but I'm now not sure that I have. A fantastic book in any case - the story of a woman suddenly widowed with two teenage children, who takes up a position as the 'Missy' of a school in rural Scotland. Nothing like as twee as it sounds...
