This book had moments of being above and moments of being below average. Overall, I'm glad that I read it and I did identify with it. I think it's obvious that the book was written by a 16 year old girl, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It simply means that the book isn't a literary masterpiece, in this particular case.
It's a good read and I do recommend it, but I will only read it once.

I received this book from SlicKitty today, thought I would just read a few pages to see if it might catch my attention and couldn't put it down! I've read 360 out of 404 pages today. If I wasn't so sleepy I would finish it! I'm completely blown away by the author, 16 yr. old Rebecca Ray. She's an exceptional writer and I expect more great things from her in the future. Finished today. Continue to be amazed. The book ended very abruptly and left me hoping for a sequel. I really hope the author continues to write and continues this storyline.

A warning: this books describes self-mutilation/cutting behavior so could be a trigger to anyone recovering from it.
