A classic, with a writing style all his own, this memoir took a while to get into but once used to the personal way of relating his life story it took me in! In great contrast to my own life and upbringing it showed me how lucky I have been and not only entertained with its odd humour but educated me in the varied ways of the world and the similarities we humans have where ever we may live.
