"Nothing links person to person like the frequent passage from hand to hand of a good book."

I love David Brin's writing and have also heard him speak several times since he is a local author. He's very interesting on what the future may hold and on subjects like creativity and privacy. "Earth" is a compelling story about a black hole that has fallen into the Earth's core. Lots of great characters and science, and some important messages about the environment and our responsibility to our planet.

Oh dear! I was sorting out books for releasing and realised that this one never got journalled. So sorry judygreeneyes for missing it.

I didn't enjoy this as much as The Postman, but it was still a good read. I will definitely look for more books by this author.

We have an arts festival in my town and I am going to try and release a book every day. My first show is The Old Man and the Sea and I will leave Earth at the venue :)
