This is a science fiction book that runs through a story but throughout switches back to events in the past that gradually get further and further back. Whilst I found this quite gripping to begin with it gradually got less compulsive reading but I still really enjoyed this.

I found it in a charity shop! It was supposed to be free, being a BC book, but I don't begrudge the 50p to The Kirkwood :)
