This is a great discussion of the role of science and religion in modern society and how they have come to be seen as in conflict with each other, particularly the role of each in the battle between creationism and evolution.

I love Stephen Jay Gould's essays and books, so this one was a natural for me to read. To find that it supported my general philosophy regarding the role of science and religion in my life was rewarding.

This is my first registered book, I am excited about seeing who takes the book and, hopefully, responds at this website.
