Another copy, this one from Malcolm
I sort donated books at the Oxfam on Magdalen Street here in Norwich. Great to see it’s travelled such a long way. Still in perfect nic and unread. I bought it myself and will set it free. I read it last year. Terrific book.
The next box I sorted had a first edition of Nicholas Nickleby in it. Not sure which excited me more...

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
In the Little Free Library.
Caught at the Little free Library at the Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh, while I was releasing books there.
So, I thought that the writing style in this was great, but the subject was just too sad for me at the moment. I realised that I had read this before so I am not missing out too much!
And off it goes in Plum-crazy's debut novels book box!
Plucked from the box..lots of plaudits for this one from the front cover, so looking forward to reading this
An excellent read! There were moments throughout the book that I had to remember that Suleiman is just 9 years old and the talk of betrayal and secrets should be an adult concept, but this is no ordinary society-it's one where to inform was a 'national sport'. The story begin to lag mid way but picked up again to a happier place. This was Libya under Gaddaffi - it no doubt has many other stories to tell of a bereft country and it would be interesting to find more on this.
Happy reading to the winner of 'International Sweepstakes'
Thank you for the book and bookcrossing labels! :)
"Libya, 1979. Nine-year-old Suleiman’s days are circumscribed by the narrow rituals of childhood: outings to the ruins surrounding Tripoli, games with friends played under the burning sun, exotic gifts from his father’s constant business trips abroad. But his nights have come to revolve around his mother’s increasingly disturbing bedside stories full of old family bitterness. And then one day Suleiman sees his father across the square of a busy marketplace, his face wrapped in a pair of dark sunglasses. Wasn’t he supposed to be away on business yet again? Why is he going into that strange building with the green shutters? Why did he lie? "

An interesting story.

Thank you for your generosity. This looks very promising. I hope I will get to it soon.
