Mum bought this at Christmas on my recommendation, but couldn't get into it, so gave it to me to bookcross. I might re-read it first, though.

Took a few years to get round to re-reading it (probably a good thing, because it meant I'd forgotten most of the twists and turns of the plot). Just as good as I remembered it.

I like this story...
People keep telling me to read this book!
Fascinating! A love story for the ages and a great original twist of time travel. The ending was poignant and beautiful - it brought a tear to the eye.
The characters were well drawn and the language well tuned
The only criticism is it was too long. The middle of they book could have done with a serious edit. The final 3rd picked up but overall it could have lost 100 pages. I would have given it a 9 except for this.
Definitely worth persevering to the end.
