Thank you so much, Tabby-cat-owner! I was delighted to receive this one from my wish list. I really like Kristin Hannah, but her books can be a little hard to find here. Really made my day and one of my favorite gifts I received for Xmas this year. Thank you for the little extras too. The dolphin book mark and postcard and (I think) the cute panda (not entirely sure which parcel that one came from now!). I hope you are also having a lovely Xmas!

I don't want to sound totally ungrateful as this was a secret Santa present from my wish list and I truly was delighted, but unfortunately it was not a very good book. I have read some of Kristin's newer books and they are excellent. This one is an earlier book and much more romance based. I enjoy a romance but this is the "a woman's life is babies and children"variety. Obviously Kristin is an author that grew into finding more interesting stories to tell. To me, anyhow. I'm sure for a lot of women this would be an enjoyable story, but - personally I was far from the "warm glow" promised on the cover. I found Annie hard to relate to. I initially pitied her, but then I just got cross around the time of the "choice no woman should have to make". Please!
I wish I could lie and say it was good, but I try to be honest in my reviews. I chose it, only myself to blame!

Thankyou so much to Romy86. Arrived as part of the bookbag she sent me...
Will be given to Nan to read first... she's never really agreed with bookcrossing but loves to read. I've always said if you want to read any of my books you can. When this book arrived she asked if she could read it. It absolutely made my day...
