I received this in a humongous box of books from Ebay. Have decided that I will send it on unread - not because I don't want to of course - too little time. Should another copy come my way then I will read it. Happy journeys.

I just love the wicked twisted humor of Carl Hiaasen. I am so thankful I stumbled on his new book "Hoot." It is his first young adult book (as far as I know) and I thought it would be a great read for my oldest niece. What a blessing since it led me to his other books. If you like Carl then you might as well read Dave Barry's two novels too. This book was a hoot. I can't wait to read others of his.
I am going to pass this on to my dad. He is going to love this book as he is a fan of Dave Barry.
My dad loved this too. Nice to know we still share the same twisted humor. :) My poor mom did not appreciate all his giggling in bed. My husband did not either when I read the book. Too bad, they are really missing out.
