The Oprah has spoken

Great epic tales of 3 generations spanning the early 1900's to the 1st ww. The whole book is a parable about good vs evil and mirrors the Cain & Abel story from the bible. I found it very well thought out and engaging. I know she was bad, but I really liked the Cathy/Kate character. I found some of her outrageous behavior pretty funny. Maybe I'm not deep enough, but I don't think I got the answer to the good vs evil thing but then again maybe that is an answer in and of itself.

Excellent book--slow in places, very descriptive. The characters are very well-written and the story lines are compelling.
