Typical Ludlum spy story. Rather a lot of blood and gore, how can a human being get so stabbed, gored and battered and still keep going? The Beard read it in France, so I read it before releasing it.

I left it on the table after we had eaten an excellent meal at this cosy little restaurant, one of our favourites. The waitress came rushing over to try and give it back to me, so I explained that we'd read it and were leaving it for someone else to enjoy, so I hope she put it back on the table.
