Treated myself to some new books as I've been working so hard recently! Have read others by same author (including my favourite book we need to talk about Kevin) so have high hopes!

I love Lionel Shriver's books. I have read around 5 and love the way they are written. This book is no different. A number of difficult issues, cancer, terminal disease, money and the cost of a life are dealt with in a sensitive and actually comical way. The book was a little long but I read it quickly because I wanted to know what was going to happen desperately! This isn't my favourite of get books (We Need to Talk About Kevin is, although I greatly enjoyed the Post Birthday World) but I'm glad I finally read it after having it on my shelf for so long.
I am on holiday so imagine I will wild release it here
