I really enjoyed this book and found it astounding. Knowing that there are other people in this world who grow up with such beliefs and remain stuck in a society as such is just almost impossible to imagine.
The book is on it's way to arough48187. Will try to mail today or by Monday at the very latest.

I loved this book. It was just as good as A Gracious Plenty. Sheri Reynolds does a phenomenal job with characterization, and by the end of the book I felt like I knew Ninah. Granted the whole religious beliefs were cocked and I totally believe that she got some of the "punishments" out of books on medieval practices. I am not a big fan of organized religion and this books illustrates perfectly why I am not a fan. It's too easy to get carried away with shoulds and should nots and interpret the Bible (or whatever book you happen to believe in) to say exactly what you want it to say. Anyway, it was an excellent read and I have to get my hands on Bitterroot Landing SOON!!!

Thanks for sharing and sorry for keeping it so long. It will go out this week to kymberlie.
