Found this used book at the local transfer station. Given the review on the front ( "A disturbing masterpiece") and the blurb on the back, I thought I would really like this; literary and sex.
However, I only found the first quarter to third palatable. The main character was in no way likable and just seemed to go on and on about sex. I did skim the end of the book to find out what happened to Consuela. Would love to know what another reader thinks.
