When a baby escapes a murderer intent on killing his entire family, who would have thought it would find safety and security in the local graveyard? Brought up by the resident ghosts, ghouls and spectres, Bod has an eccentric childhood learning about life from the dead. But for Bod there is also the danger of the murderer still looking for him - after all, he is the last remaining member of the family. A stunningly original novel deftly constructed over eight chapters, featuring every second year of Bod's life, from babyhood to adolescence. Will Bod survive to be a man?

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Going to LESEHEST. Enjoy :)
Thank you so much!!
It's hard not to start reading the book at once, but I should finish a few others first.
Thanks for the bc-stickers and the delicious chocolate! Haven't tasted chocolate that was this good since 2006 in Ghana!

Wow!! This was the best book I've read in a long time. When I read the last page, I just wanted to start it all over again.
Now I'm reserving it for one of the Scandinavian Bookcrossers.

Lucky me! A Nail Gaiman novel I haven't read! It goes into my TBR mountain, but not for long.
I've only got one comment: I love this novel!

I'm bringing this delightful book to the BC meetup at the OBCZ at La Baguette
The book went home with me from meetup that time ... !! :-) So sorry for not journaling it before. I've read it and really really enjoyed it. A sweet, entertaining and thought-provoking story.
Will try to sneak this to my convention "philos" sismografos somehow this evening ... :-)
This book was the "nice to meet you" gift from my secret friend during the Bookcrossing Anniversary Convention Athens 2016, my best convention ever!
This book kind of reminded me Little vampire book series by Angela Sommer-Bodenburg and The Jungle Book too.
I hope next reader will enjoy that book as i did.
