My daughter put me on to this author..looks likely

A quick read...a very different read due to the fact that it was first written as a play then transformed into a novella. As you read this, the characters are shouting out to you from the stage..you can see the movements and expressions of the characters, hear the intonations in their voices..it's a very different way of looking at a text. The plot is deceptively simple and punchy..the main male characters though are irritating, particularly the smug Adrian. Fanny,the interviewer, for all her supposed skill seems to write quite badly which, despite being the nature of trash journalism, didn't quite ring true. It was all a bit twee and fluffy. Will still try out his other works though

on holiday, shall find a suitable place for it somewhere.....
And a fantastic break it has been and I'lll be passing this along to a friend as her first introduction to bookcrossing
