Oh my goodness, a total surprise with a wishlist book! Thank you ever so much! Now, would the book go better with drops or toffees...?

This ticked pretty much all the boxes for a light summer read! For once the plot flowed like it should! I loved the way how situations were dealt with, bad guys taken care of at once, instead of bringing back the same character multiple times throughout the book and being basically impossible to kill. Action scenes took place and the plot moved on instead of describing the fight or whatever for countless pages. I couldn't believe my eyes when Jarkko entered the story with his rally English..the writer surely knows how to build a stereotypical Finnish character! I wouldn't go buying all the gear for a treasure hunt from the Helsinki Market place, as f.ex. the clothing is more of touristy things, not anything sensible or tactical..but yeah, made the story simpler and kept the plot moving faster.
Alejanda has a challenge going on in Finnish forum to find surprising mentions of Finland in books, and this one does it on multiple pages! You can find Finland mentioned at least on pages 135, 171, 173, 187 - after that Jarkko keeps popping up throughout the book every now and then with his boats and booze.. Here's a treat from p. 173: "There were two main airports in Helsinki. Vantaa was the largest in Finland and the fourth largest in the Nordic countries. It handled most of the commercial flights into the capital city and served as the hub for Finnair, Finland's largest airline."
