This is a wonderful story/legend about King Arthur, Merlin, and the crew of Camelot. I read the book about 30 years ago, and was delighted to "find" it last night.
I was at the corner of Bloor and Avenue Road around 8:30pm -- my partner wanted to buy a hotdog and sit on the bench that is part of the Church's little courtyard. I immediately "caught" this book, read the insert on the inside cover, and took it home.
I will read again, as I do not belive in coincidences, but in karma/fate -- whatever you call it -- and will let this book back into the wild in a few weeks.

A few weeks ago, I saw a documentary about the world-wide Bookcrossing phenomenon. I was just delighted this weekend, when I spotted a " release" sitting in the parlour of my inn-- Mary Stewart's, The Last Enchantment. While I don't enjoy this genre of books, I know Mary Stewart has legions of fans. Today I left the book in a Grade Two class at J.E. Horton Elementary School in Kingston to awaken students and teachers to the joy of reading and sharing their books. I noticed on this webiste that the entire territory of Nunavut in Canada's east Arctic has had only one " book released". To change that situation, I am planning to send a parcel of seven books, registered with BookCrossing, to a contact at the Nunavut Legistalure for release in Iqaluit. the Painted Lady

A grade 2 student placed the book on his teacher's desk for me. Here's hoping that BookCrossing will catch on with students and teachers.

I didn't so much "catch" this book as had it passed on to me by someone I know who caught it. It's an excellent take on Arthurian legend told "seriously" (for lack of a better word) and without any campiness that one could recount Merlin and Arthur with. Stewart is (somewhat) before my time, but this book was as good as anything i've read recently from the bestseller lists of today. My plan for it is to pass it along, chain letter style, to a friend of mine, in the hopes that it will just keep on moving.
