I enjoyed French's novel, In the Woods and was happy to see that Cassie Maddox has returned to solve another case!

This book was a fabulous read! I had read In the Woods before...great book. This is what I'd call an intellectual mystery. It has layers and layers of detail and things for the reader to ponder. Not just evidence, but also personality traits of the detectives that might or might not be flaws. I can't wait to read the next Cassie Maddox novel.
