A classic, and one of my all-time favourites. Life is definitely a sadder place without Douglas Adams.
Read it for the enjoyment of the journey rather than the outcome -- afterall, it is a "road trip". And remember: don't panic!

Thanks Stoepbrak!,
this really is a book to enjoy, very funny.
this really is a book to enjoy, very funny.
I have known the quotes from this book for a long time before reading it.
It started when I began to use Linux and the terminal window would greet me with a funny quote .
Then, some years later I watched all episodes of the TV series in the mediathek of the University.
And then, of course, I watched the movie.
Now I finally read the book, and I can just say that, Douglas Adams can really tell the story in some many different ways and media, and still make you laugh again and again.
