Picked this one up from the Book Buffet table at the Nottingham UnCon today - do hope it wasn't destined for someone else!
Looking forward to reading it.

Another page turner from Ian Rankin - not my usual type of book, but it kept me guessing and I can never work out who did it in these types of books - my brain just gets confuddled!
Taking this along to the Nottingham meetup today.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Hello, thank you for being curious enough to visit Bookcrossing!
Even if this isn't your kind of book and you don't intend to read it I'd appreciate it if you would make a journal entry of some sort. Maybe you could say where you found it (they don't always stay where they were originally left!) or what you think of the idea of travelling books.
Then, leave it for someone else to find. And don't forget, if you make release notes (to say where you've left it, and when) next time it's journalled you'll hear from it too! Many thanks and happy Bookcrossing!
Taking this one along to the April 2012 meetup in Nottingham to find it a new home.

Nobody likes The Complaints - they're the cops who investigate other cops. Complaints and Conduct Department, to give them their full title, but known colloquially as 'the Dark Side', or simply 'The Complaints'. Malcolm Fox works for The Complaints. He's just had a result, and should be feeling good about himself. But he's middle-aged, sour and unwell. He also has a father in a care home and a sister who persists in an abusive relationship. In the midst of an aggressive Edinburgh winter, the reluctant Fox is given a new task. There's a cop called Jamie Breck, and he's dirty. Problem is, no one can prove it. But as Fox takes on the job, he learns that there's more to Breck than anyone thinks. This knowledge will prove dangerous, especially when murder intervenes.
I'm a Rebus fan & this is the first non-Rebus book that I've read. A great read. It got really complicated but was all sorted at the end (I think).
