An early 'Harry' Bosch novel...I want to see what he's all about after reading the stand-alone Lincoln Lawyer. From a charity shop in Ipswich
(23/09) The 3rd Bosch (I need to go back to start of the series!) finds the maverick grizzled LA cop in court for wrongful killing whilst trying to solve an old murder (the Blonde set a concrete), the hair colour is important...I suggest a completely improbable situation? The other Concrete Blonde is the statue of justice outside the courtroom and Connelly's attempts at some philosophy to separate the law, retribution and justice in a stacked legal process. A good fun thriller with all the right characters, plot twists and staged final will-he/won't-he drama
