We were in Enschede yesterday and there was a small flea market there. On our way back to the Park & Ride bus, we passed a couple of piles of what looked like English books on the ground. The seller told us there were 18 English novels and that I could have them for €0.50 cents per book, or €5 for the whole 18 books. We were in a bit of a hurry, but I thought I would buy them all, not for me, but to give away through BookCrossing. It is so hard to find English books in this country! So I thought I would get them while I could. The seller put them all in a bag and we rushed off to catch the bus back to where our car was parked!
It was only today, when I got the books out of the bag to look at them that I discovered there are 16 books and not 18. They are not all novels, as three of them are plays, (scripts), and one book is in French and not English! There are 6 Wilbur Smith books, and there is one biography and one children's book. Whoever owned them liked Wilbur Smith, that's for sure!! This book was one of them!
I will be releasing this book soon.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

I am sending this book to VictoriaWagtail as part of the Wishlist Tag Game in the RABCK forum.
When I tagged you with this book, I had only just got it, in a bag of books that I bought, and only just registered it. Now today, I have looked through it and I saw that the previous owner has written notes inside the book. I'm sorry about that. I hope it won't spoil the book for you. At least I'm hoping this book will do until you get another better copy of it.
I enclose another little book as an extra.

Thank you Chamonix44 :) What a great story about the book, it's fun to know where the books come from and their histories. The scribling inside doesn't matter, that happenes sometimes with second hand book. I've wanted to read "Macbeth" for a long time (I haven't read anything by Shakespeare yet... :s ). But as a matter of fact I got another wishlist-Shakespeare in the mail at the same day as this one arrived, "A Midsummernight's dream" from Marsala :) That one and this one were the Shakespeares I was most interested in so now I have no more excuses for not reading him! Thank you som much for sending me this book
