This book is about 3 friends, Candice, Roxanne and Maggie, who work at the same place and meet up on the 1st of every month for cocktails. Big changes happen in all of their lives, Maggie is pregnant, Roxanne is having an affair with a married man and Candice meets an old school friend in the cocktail bar where they meet up who changes her life in a HUGE way.
I didnt really warm to the characters of Roxanne and Candice, but really liked Maggie. I think i felt i could relate to her and her feelings of being a new mum.
Overall, i really enjoyed this book, it was a nice and easy read and will definately read more of Sophie Kinsella writing as Madeleine Wickham

Kinsella is not one for disappointment!
I really like this book, although Candice was a bit too dumb for me. I could identify the most with Roxanne. Her story was really sad!
