This was a difficult book for me emotionally to realize that there are people out there who actually live the way this family did. This is a memoir about this girl who grew up in a highly dysfunctional family. The parents ended up loving to be homeless. This girl has grown up to be a successful writer while her parents continue to be "squatters". Once I got over the sadness of the reality of this book, I found it fascinating. It was a good read and I have many friends who absolutely loved this book. I heard the author on NPR one afternoon talking about this book which was pretty cool.
Will be sending just Not Into It box to Colorado for more traveling to the next person on the list.
Picked this one from the I'm Not Into It Bookbox, thanks for including it.
